John Schultz is the founder of the public speaking seminar “Beyond the Podium” which trains business professionals in the theory and application of public address. John is currently Director of Theatre and Forensics at Tallahassee Community College, where he teaches theatre and coaches TCC’s National Championship Speech and Debate Team. He has served on the board of directors for the Leon County Cultural Resources Commission, the Tallahassee Little Theatre, and the Southern Shakespeare Festival.

John loves the outdoors and enjoys such hobbies as camping, kayaking, and gardening. The last novel he read, which is associated with his instructional duties at the college, was “The Great Sophists in Periclean Athens” by French scholar Jacqueline de Romilly.
